Removal of old decals
This is a service we provide.
The Easy Way: Recommended for both painted and non-painted surfaces.
You will need: a fabric steamer.
Make sure not to get your hands to close to the steam. Gently move steamer back and forth over decal, make sure not to stay in one place for more than a few seconds. Lightly prod the edge of the decal with a finger to see if it comes loose. Reapply steam if needed.
The Not-So-Easy Way: Recommended for glass and metal, not recommended for any painted surface or scratch-able plastic.
You will need: Rubbing alcohol and a flat razor or similar flat blade.
Begin to spray the alcohol and align the blade almost parallel to the glass above the decal. Scrape downward while continuing to spray the alcohol in regular intervals. When finished spray the surface with alcohol and wipe to clean any additional residue.
